Acquisition Analyst/Associate

Westside is seeking a dependable individual to support our Real Estate and Acquisitions department. Applicant must be detail-oriented, highly analytical and able to strive in a fast-paced environment. Strong communication, financial modelling, and writing skills are required. The position will provide valuable experience and professional growth in the real estate industry. Must be proficient in Argus and Excel. A very organized, self-starter with prior experience in real estate financial analysis and valuation will strive in this role.

Primary Responsibilities:
  • Analyze data across our real estate portfolio (lease analysis, market economics) and provide support to the Asset Management team.
  • Work with the Acquisition team to analyze deals and underwrite due diligence.
  • Prepare investor presentations, investment committee memorandums.
  • Interact with the Asset Management team to provide support for existing portfolio (including, but not limited to, interacting with lenders, creating lease abstracts and capital expense budgets).
  • Preparing quarterly/annual reporting for properties, including monthly requisitions for construction lenders, budget variance reports, and financial analysis and forecasts.
Qualifications and Requirements:
  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in real estate, finance, economics or another business discipline.
  • Ability to create comprehensive reports, memo and investment summaries (MS Office).
  • Superior computer skills are a must; candidate should possess a high comfort level with Microsoft Excel and have general excel financial modeling capabilities.
